Boulder Nissan's

Repaired for Life Program

What Is Boulder Nissan's Repaired for Life Program?

Repaired for Life is a limited lifetime parts and labor warranty that applies to eligible service repairs performed on your vehicle. When you purchase a qualifying repair, that specific repaired component may be covered for future failure for as long as you own the vehicle, subject to the terms of the warranty contract.

Coverage applies only to the original repair and the parts listed on the original repair order. This is a limited product warranty, not insurance, and is administered by Century Automotive Service Corporation.

Program Availability Notice: Repaired for Life coverage applies only to qualifying repairs performed on or after January 6, 2026. Repairs completed prior to this date are not eligible for Repaired for Life coverage.

How the Program Works

  1. Bring your vehicle in for a qualifying service repair.
  2. Approve and complete the repair.
  3. Receive your Repaired for Life warranty contract.
  4. If a covered part fails due to normal use during your ownership, the part(s) and labor may be covered.
  5. Repairs must be authorized before work is performed.

Coverage begins on the date listed on the original repair order and remains in effect for as long as you own the vehicle, subject to all terms and exclusions outlined in the contract

What Is Covered

If a Covered Part listed on the original repair order fails during the warranty term, the warranty may cover:

  • Replacement of the covered part
  • Labor to install the replacement part
  • Repairs completed by a licensed repair facility
  • Coverage up to Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for parts and labor

Each covered part is eligible for one repair under the warranty. Once a covered part has been replaced under warranty, coverage for that part ends.
The administrator may require the use of like-kind and quality parts or remanufactured parts. If an alternative part is requested, any cost difference is the customer’s responsibility.

Common Examples of Eligible Repairs

Examples may include, but are not limited to:

  • Brake components (pads, rotors, calipers when listed on the original repair order)
  • Steering components
  • Suspension components
  • Certain engine or drivetrain components
  • Cooling system components

Eligibility is determined by the original repair order and the warranty contract. Not all repairs qualify.

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not provide benefits for the following:

  • Parts not listed on the original repair order
  • Cosmetic or trim items
  • Routine maintenance items such as filters, fluids, bulbs, wiper blades, tires, wheels, and rims
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or modification
  • Failures caused by aftermarket or performance modifications
  • Pre-existing conditions or failures occurring before the original repair date
  • Consequential damage to non-covered parts
  • Individual repair line items under $200
  • Repairs performed without prior authorization

A full list of exclusions is provided in the contract and governs coverage.

Who Is Eligible

  • Coverage applies only to the original customer
  • The warranty is non-transferable and non-renewable
  • Coverage remains valid only while you own the vehicle
  • Repairs must be authorized and verified before work is performed
  • Failure to prevent additional damage may void coverage

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this really lifetime coverage?

Coverage lasts for as long as you own the vehicle, subject to contract terms.

Does the warranty transfer to a new owner?

No. The warranty is non-transferable.

Do future covered repairs have to be done at Boulder Nissan?

Yes. To remain eligible for Repaired for Life coverage, all future replacements of a covered repair must be performed at our dealership. If a covered component, such as brake pads and rotors, is replaced elsewhere after the original repair, the Repaired for Life coverage for that component will be voided.

Are parts and labor both covered?

Yes, for eligible covered repairs, subject to MSRP limits and authorization.

Does this cover damage from modifications?

No. Modifications that contribute to failure are excluded.
