What Is Repaired for Life? Boulder Nissan’s Limited Lifetime Repair Program Explained

Published on Jan 22, 2026 by Boulder Service Team

What Is Boulder Nissan’s Repaired for Life Program and How Does It Work?

Vehicle ownership comes with routine maintenance and occasional repairs, and over time, those costs can add up. At Boulder Nissan, we are introducing a new way to help protect customers from repeat repair costs on qualifying service work through our Repaired for Life program.
This program is designed to reward customers who maintain their vehicles properly and service them with us by offering long-term protection on eligible repairs.

What Is Repaired for Life?

Repaired for Life is a limited lifetime parts and labor warranty that applies to qualifying service repairs purchased at Boulder Nissan. When you pay for an eligible repair, coverage begins on that specific repair and may protect you from paying again if that covered component fails due to normal use in the future.
Coverage remains in effect for as long as you own your vehicle, subject to program terms and exclusions.

How Repaired for Life Works

The program is simple and straightforward:

  • You bring your vehicle to Boulder Nissan for service.
  • You approve and purchase a qualifying customer-paid repair.
  • That repair becomes eligible for Repaired for Life coverage.
  • If the covered component fails later due to normal use, parts and labor may be covered.
  • Future replacements of that covered repair must be completed at Boulder Nissan to maintain coverage.

Coverage applies only to the specific parts listed on the original repair order and does not apply retroactively.

What Types of Repairs May Qualify?

Eligible repairs vary, but commonly include items such as:

  • Brake components
  • Suspension components
  • Steering components
  • Wheel bearings
  • Certain powertrain components
  • Air conditioning components
  • Control arms
  • 12V batteries

Eligibility is determined at the time of service and outlined in the Repaired for Life contract you receive with your repair.

What Does Not Qualify for Repaired for Life?

To avoid confusion, it is important to understand what does not qualify for coverage.
Repaired for Life does not apply to:

  • Insurance repairs
  • Manufacturer warranty repairs
  • Extended service contract or third-party warranty repairs
  • Recall or campaign repairs
  • Goodwill or no-charge repairs

Only qualifying customer-paid repairs are eligible for Repaired for Life coverage.

Additionally, coverage does not apply to failures caused by neglect, misuse, abuse, or vehicle modifications, and it does not cover repairs performed elsewhere that replace a covered component.

Why Servicing at Boulder Nissan Matters

To maintain eligibility, all future replacements of a covered repair must be performed at our dealership.

This ensures:

  • Repairs are completed by trained technicians
  • Approved parts are used
  • Coverage remains active and verifiable

Replacing a covered repair at another shop will void Repaired for Life coverage for that component.

When Does Coverage Begin?

Repaired for Life coverage applies only to qualifying repairs performed on or after January 6, 2026, which is when the program began.
Coverage starts on the date of the original paid repair and applies only to the specific repair listed on that service order.

Why Repaired for Life Is Different

Many repair warranties cover parts only or expire after a short period. Repaired for Life is designed to provide longer-term value by covering both parts and labor on eligible repairs for customers who plan to keep their vehicles.
It is not insurance, and it is not a blanket vehicle warranty. Instead, it is focused, transparent protection tied directly to the repairs you purchase.
