If you’re in the market for a new or used vehicle here in the Boulder, Colorado, area, you may be pleased to hear about the Boulder Nissan Advantage. This is our new & certified pre-owned limited warranty that is available on many different makes and models, though it’s not available on every single vehicle ever built. So, that’s what we’re here to talk about today. We’ll give you the rundown not just on the term information and what you get with our limited warranty, but also what kinds of vehicles are and are not eligible to receive the warranty.
Let’s start by diving into the details on the limited powertrain warranty’s coverage, as that will show you what’s so great about the plan. There are three major aspects of the vehicle covered by the limited powertrain warranty: engine, transmission or transfer case and the drive axle. Check out the following for a full list of individual parts covered by the warranty.
In addition to the limited powertrain warranty detailed here, the Boulder Nissan Advantage program also offers 24-hours roadside assistance. This round-the-clock service is available 24 hours a day and seven days a week, and the most you’ll pay for using the service each time is $80. These benefits include coverage of towing costs, flat tire changes, battery service, lock-out assistance and delivery of fuel, oil, fluid or water.
Now, let’s dive into the details on the actual terms of the warranty itself. When purchasing a new vehicle, your warranty will last for seven years from the manufacturer’s in-service date or up until your odometer hits 100,000 miles, whichever happens first. Each and every repair visit you make during this time will have a deductible of $0, making it a very lucrative warranty.
Alternatively if you purchase a certified pre-owned vehicle, the warranty will cover your vehicle for up to three years from the date of purchase or, once again, until your odometer reads 100,000 miles. Your deductible in this case will be for 50% of the repair cost.
Finally, let’s dive into the eligibility rules for getting the Boulder Nissan Advantage limited powertrain warranty on your vehicle. When purchasing a new vehicle, it must have less than 5,000 miles on the odometer upon the time of purchase. As for pre-owned vehicles, only models built in the current model year and through the nine previous model years are considered eligible, and they must have 90,000 miles or fewer on the odometer when you purchase it. Instead of listing every make and model eligible for the deal, we will present a list of those makes and models that are never eligible for the program:
There are some other makes that might not be eligible but aren’t mainstream enough to be listed, so you can always give us a call with any questions that you might have. We look forward to hearing from you!
